Sunday 6/27/10

Cereal and last of apple struddle for Breakfast

G, D, and C had hot Chocolate

J was still asleep

Strike camp

Tent master executed flawless packing up

Pack car

Quick tetherball

J won

Home through Boonville

Through the forest

Lots of little towns

Fairly uneventful

Warm vineyard-covered countryside

Barbeque in Cloverdale

J-World famous Cheeseburger and “Izzy” drink

(Proven with thousands of postcards from around the world)

G/C shared an order of ribs and French fries and “Izzy” drink

Daddy-Tri-tip sandwich and Diet coke

Ice Cream in Sebastepal

At a foster freeze

G/Daddy- ½ ice creams

J/C- Vannilla

Home to an empty house

Mom had taken all the furniture 

Practice Camping Trip (Day 2)

Saturday 6/26/10

Got up

Breakfast

cereal

Apple struddles

Tea

Coffie

Milk

Early foggy walk on the beach

Saw dead seal

Picked up a bunch of blue rocks

Tetherball tournaments

Met ryan

Had mullet haircut

From patteson

Walked back to campsite

Walked around

Made hot dogs and chips

Put on bathing suits

went to the lagoon

Built sand castles

Had wars

Goslings

Teenagers digging a pit

Went to beach

Surfed on floaties (kind of)

C and daddy had stick battle on the beach

Had hot showers 

$1.50 for seven minutes

Crammed in

Went back to camp 

Had steak and Ceaser salad for dinner

Sat around the campfire talking about Kevin

Talked about Christopher Mckinney and tetherball

Messed around

Waited for dark

Went down to beach

Broke glowsticks

preformed glowstick show

J’s broke

He had to throw it away

Walked down to what used to be a little stream

Was now a big part of the ocean

Walked by the teenagers

Saw them in their fire-hole

Practice Camping Trip (Day 1)

Friday 6/25/10

Got up

Had showers

Cleaned house

Finally left at 4:30

Drove over Straight bridge

It was only supported by 3 pillars

Shopped in Petaluma

Got sunglasses

J: Black

G: Yellow

C: Green

Healdburg

Cloverdale

Yreka

Willits

Turned left for the ocean

Drove an hour down a little squirmy road later

Pulled into a campsite by a fine sandy beach

G=Tent Master

Set up camp

C and Daddy bought a chicken

Had it for dinner

Made Campfire

Had S’mores

Birth of kevin’

Went down to the beach

Glowsticks

Full moon bliss

Went to bed

Practice Camping Trip - Be Prepared

Thursday 6/24/10 - We are planning a short weekend camping trip as "Practice" for a week long outing in August.

Had Pasta  for dinner ... Daddy is getting better. He makes 'green stuff' to dip the bread in and we all love it.  

SUMMER WEEKEND !!! (Sunday)

Sunday 6/20/10

Fathers Day – J and C slept in Dad’s room
Had pancakes for breakfast
Drove to beach to meet with Oma
        Had lots of fun
        Built mini-fort
        Had chicken, cookies, chips, strawberries, pasta, and soda
        Walked around -
        Buried ourselves in the sand
        Dad slept on beach
        Drove home
 Had pizza on the deck
Gracie watched a few more Cartoons and C and J played poptropia

SUMMER WEEKEND !!! (Saturday)

Saturday 6/19/10

Called and Thanked Oma
Decided where to go for Father’s Day – BEACH!
Had Showers
Went to San Francisco
Went by Dad’s old Apartment on Octavia St
Drove down the Crookedest Street in the World (Lombard)
Then drove over to Union square and parked in Stockton Garage
Stopped at Shreuers and bought some dish towells (LaMonts are overpriced!)
Walked through Stockton street tunnel to chinatown
Went through Chinatown
         Everyone is short
         And Chinese…
Lots of Shops
People buying fruits and vegetables
Walked into North Beach and up Grant ave – there was a street fair with music and food venders on all the streets. The streets were closed off to car traffic and people were walking in the middle of the streets…
Ate lunch at North Beach Pizza
        Good
We had pizza, lemonade (dad had a glass of chianti)
Walked up to Coit Tower
       Windy
       Open Roof
       Shaped after a fire hose
       Saw all of the big murals
       Depicted the time the paintings were done (during the great depression 1930’s)
       C wanted stuff from the gift store
       Lots of steps to get to the tower, and up to the top
       Looked out all the windows 

Went back to Street Fair. 

       Listen to the band

       Lady at French Fry stand gave us Garlics fries with Crab on them because somebody ordered them and then didn't want them. 

       They were GREAT !!!!

Friday 6/18/10


Layed in bed all day
Watched cartoons (350 Classic Cartoons on 4 DVD's - How long will it take to watch them all???)
Did absolutely nothing...All day long
Had cereal for breakfast
Had sliders for dinner
Finished the Matrix III Movie (First was the Best, First was definitely the Best, idk)
Watched Rat Patrol (a wanna be 'Combat' show)
Had Golf Tournament
       J won
       6 holes
       J got “TNT MINI Bombs” for winning the Tournament
       Like Sprite bombs but in tiny bags

SUMMER WEEKEND !!! (Thursday)

Thursday 6/17/10

Mom dropped us off at Daddy’s house
Oma came to take us to KOA (a “kamping” place)
J did some Summer Homework
It was fun
We swam
We played tetherball
We ate a good lunch
It was in Mendocino
We drove back
Watched Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith
          Good
Went to bed

Mom dropped us off with daddy today for some reason
Got some new books
Played catch with new hardball mitts
Played baseball in the yard
Very hot so we had smoothies on the deck
Went to play tennis at 11:00
        J hit most of his tennis balls over the fence
       G won tornement
Played in nearby playground after that
Explored creek
an unusually large swarm of bees flew by
        3-4 thousand bees
        Sounded like motorcycles
Looked at the beginnings of The Family Way Photo Album
Installed Microsoft Office Pro 2003 on J’s laptop
Went to a pizza place (Amici’s New York Pizza) for dinner

Hiked at Roys Redwoods
        Lots of poisen oak
        J didn’t get any
        Pretended we were indians
        J and G got lost
